The German Geophysical Research Center (GFZ) said that an 8.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Mindanao, Philippines. Previously, GFZ estimated the earthquake to be magnitude 7.3. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10km.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake in Mindanao was magnitude 7.8. The earthquake depth is about 35km.

Japanese authorities have issued tsunami warnings along many coastal areas of the Pacific Ocean of this country. The Japan Meteorological Agency said that tsunamis up to 1m high are expected to attack different areas from 11:30 am local time.
