On May 6, dozens of households were present at the large hall of Thanh Xuan Ward People's Committee to receive compensation, support, and resettlement money to implement Ring Road 2.5 Project (Nguy Nhu Kon Tum - Nguyen Trai section).
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Thanh Xuan Ward People's Committee said that according to the plan, by the end of May 7, the ward will complete the payment for 458/472 cases in the land acquisition area for Ring Road 2.5.
On May 6 and 7, the Working Group of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council made payments for compensation, support, and resettlement from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM and from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Regarding the progress of site clearance, a representative of Thanh Xuan Ward People's Committee said that the Ring Road 2.5 project passes through a densely populated residential area, including the ancient village area of Chinh Kinh - Nhan Chinh. Many long, narrow alleys make it difficult for machinery to dismantle and waste transport vehicles to access.
In addition, the demolition site is cramped, making the demolition mainly carried out manually, so the demolition and site clearance work has many difficulties, requiring forces to closely coordinate in the implementation process with perseverance.
The dismantling work is carried out according to the motto "do as far as possible, be sure as possible; hand over as far as possible, dismantle as far as possible; dismantle as far as possible, hand over clean ground as possible" to ensure overall progress.
According to the plan, on May 9, Thanh Xuan ward will hand over about 2.3ha/3.91ha of land area to be recovered.
When coming to receive money, land users must bring the following documents:
- Citizen identification card or valid passport;
- Decision of Thanh Xuan Ward People's Committee on approving the compensation, support, and resettlement plan.
- In case the land user does not directly come to receive the money for objective reasons, the legal authorization must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of law; the authorized person when coming to receive the money must present a legal authorization certificate accompanied by the above documents or the land user can directly contact the investor (before the payment date) to submit an application for registration of a suitable money receipt time.
- When receiving compensation and support money, land users are responsible for handing over the original legal documents on houses and land to the assisting group of the Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Council; Thanh Xuan Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board according to regulations.
- In case the land user whose land is recovered does not come to receive the money, the amount according to the approved plan will be transferred to the account of the unit organizing the compensation, support, and resettlement tasks at the State Commercial Bank and the land user must still hand over the land within the prescribed time.
