The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section (Hanoi) has a total length of about 21.7km, of which the section passing through Chuong My ward is 3.658km long, with a total recovered area of about 21 ha, related to 814 land plots.
Chuong My Commune People's Committee said that so far, site clearance (GPMB) has achieved many positive results.
The ward has completed site clearance and handed over to the investor 1.54km/3.658km (reaching 42.1%), equivalent to about 7.95 ha; completed site clearance for 156/814 land plots.
In which, mainly agricultural land and public land; some sections have been implemented with a length of about 1.45km.
For the remaining area of 2,118km (equivalent to 13.131ha with 658 land plots), functional agencies have completed the issuance of 100% land recovery notices, are actively deploying inventory, confirming origin, preparing and publicizing compensation and support plans. To date, 119 plans have been developed, 100% verification and public disclosure have been achieved, initially approving 6 compensation plans.
Along with that, leadership and direction work has been deployed synchronously and drastically. The Ward People's Committee has established a Council to appraise compensation, support, and resettlement plans; a working group has been strengthened to accelerate the progress of site clearance; organized many conferences to propagate and mobilize people, businesses, and religious establishments to agree and commit to handing over the site before the land acquisition decision.
However, the implementation process still has some difficulties and obstacles such as: obstacles related to auctioned land being cut in area; difficulties in determining land origin; inadequacies in resettlement arrangement; impacts on people's lives after land acquisition; shortcomings in the work of relocating graves.
These contents have been summarized, reported and proposed to competent authorities for consideration and resolution in the past time by the Ward People's Committee.
Mr. Phi Minh Hai - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Chuong My ward emphasized the necessity to unify the project implementation plan with the spirit of "GPMB to where, hand over to there", determined to implement decisively, ensuring the set progress.
For difficulties and obstacles, it is necessary to proactively coordinate with Departments, Boards, and branches of the City to promptly exchange and remove them; handle difficulties thoroughly to that extent, ensuring the correct application of legal regulations, and at the same time choosing the most beneficial option for the people.
In addition, Mr. Hai also requested units to unify in statements and synchronous actions, promote the role of each member of the Steering Committee and residential groups in propaganda and mobilization, creating high consensus among the people.
In the coming time, Chuong My ward will continue to implement the motto "clear matter, clear responsibility, clear progress, clear product"; focus on accelerating the progress of inventorying, confirming origin, completing compensation plans; striving to complete the set goals in the second quarter of 2026, contributing to ensuring the progress of key projects of the City.
