On April 10, Tan Hoi Commune Police (Lam Dong) said that forces overnight controlled and extinguished a forest fire that occurred at Yen Ngua hill, Tan Binh village.
According to initial information, the forest fire occurred at about 10 pm on April 9 at Yen Ngua hill, belonging to Sub-area 301A managed by Dai Ninh Protection Forest Management Board.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Commune Police and the Military Command of Tan Hoi commune mobilized dozens of people, coordinated with local Forest Rangers, forest owner units and grassroots security forces to quickly approach the scene and deploy firefighting measures.
Despite difficult night conditions, the forces still coordinated to deploy synchronous plans, urgently extinguishing the fire and controlling the fire.

After many hours of effort, the forest fire was controlled and completely extinguished by the forces.
Initial statistics show that the fire caused damage to about 1.5 hectares of forest, mainly mixed trees, vegetation and reeds. Functional agencies are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
Recently, due to prolonged hot weather and dry weather, many forest fires and production garden fires have occurred in the province. Fortunately, all incidents were detected and handled promptly, so they did not cause major damage.

Functional agencies recommend that, entering the peak of the dry season, the risk of forest fires is high. People should not burn fields and vegetation near forests when safety is not guaranteed; do not bring fire or flammable substances into the forest; do not litter cigarette butts indiscriminately.
When forest fires are detected, it is necessary to immediately report to the local authorities or the nearest functional force for handling.
