On June 28, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Nam Sach commune (Hai Phong City) organized the payment of compensation and support money in the first phase for households whose land was recovered to implement the Investment Project to build a new residential and commercial service area in the East.
In this phase, 155 households received compensation and support with a total amount of more than 49 billion VND. The household with the highest payment received more than 4 billion VND; the compensation and support level of each household is determined based on the area, type of land and assets eligible for compensation.
To ensure the project implementation progress, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council prioritizes paying in advance to households with land in the planned area for building a new cemetery, creating conditions for families to move graves soon according to plan, contributing to accelerating site clearance progress.
Payment work is organized publicly, transparently, to the right subjects, according to the approved plan and in accordance with the provisions of law. In the process of payment, professional staff directly guide and answer contents related to compensation and support plans, creating favorable conditions for people to complete procedures.
In order to create convenience for people, at the payment points, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and MBV Bank arrange officials to directly advise and guide people to open savings books and carry out deposit transactions for households in need immediately after receiving compensation and support money. The on-site service deployment helps people manage money safely and conveniently, while limiting carrying large amounts of cash after receiving payment.
The organization of the first phase of compensation and support payment is an important step in the process of implementing site clearance, contributing to creating consensus among the people and accelerating the progress of the project to invest in building a new residential and commercial service area in the East according to the set plan.
