According to the target assigned in the Government's Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030", by 2025, Hanoi must complete 18,700 apartments. The city is implementing many solutions to support investors to quickly implement to complete this goal.
According to the latest report from the Hanoi Department of Construction, the city is expected to have 19 projects completed in the 2021-2025 period, reaching about 78.3% of the target in the development plan. Some social housing projects in favorable locations are preparing to start construction. After completion, the number of social housing units will increase, so will the opportunity for workers to own an apartment.
Currently, the work of clearing land plot CT3 of the social housing project of Kim Chung New Urban Area, Dong Anh district is being actively implemented by units.
According to the investor, the project includes 3 units with each building 12 floors high, providing the market with more than 1,100 social housing apartments and will be implemented from the beginning of next year.
In Hanoi, the target of land fund for social housing and the number of apartments built are both limited. It is expected that by the end of 2025, the city will complete 3 projects with 1,700 apartments, meeting 9% of the housing needs of low-income workers.
Recently, Hanoi City has issued many documents directing the implementation of measures to accelerate investment progress, focusing on handling non-budgetary capital projects and requiring investors to accelerate project implementation progress, but there are still many difficulties in project implementation.
