The joint venture of investors Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (Handico) and Viglacera Corporation - JSC will organize the groundbreaking ceremony for CT3 project. This is part of the social housing construction investment project at plots CT3, CT4 - Kim Chung New Urban Area (Dong Anh District, Hanoi) in early 2025.
According to Viglacera, at the CT3 project, there will be 1,104 apartments, providing accommodation for nearly 3,900 people who are beneficiaries of social housing in Hanoi.
The Project Management Board informed that the Dong Anh District People's Committee is currently speeding up the site clearance process to complete it in December 2024. It is expected that in January 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee will issue a decision to allocate land for the Joint Venture Investor to carry out the steps to start the project implementation.
According to the approved planning, CT3 plot will build 3 high-rise apartment buildings with symbols CT3A, CT3B, CT3C. Each building is 12 floors high and has an additional attic, with an elevator. The total construction floor area is more than 109,410m2, meeting the population size of about 3,902 people with a total of 1,104 apartments.
Also in Kim Chung New Urban Area (Kim Chung Commune - Dong Anh District), with land plot CT4, the Joint Venture Investor has completed the investment in the construction of a social housing project including 484 apartments sold at 13.5 million VND/m2 and put into use from the fourth quarter of 2021. This project includes a 12-storey apartment building and 1 attic with a total construction floor area of over 44,368m2, meeting the housing needs of 1,527 people.
The consortium is accelerating the progress of the social housing project at CT3 plot and is expected to be completed in 2026, in accordance with the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee. When completed, the total number of apartments in the project will reach 1,588. This project also contributes to the program of developing one million social housing units that the whole country is implementing.
At the same time, the project at land plot CT5 is also being actively coordinated by the Investor Consortium with the People's Committee of Dong Anh district to remove difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance as well as arranging resettlement land for people.
On the other hand, the Consortium is studying a report from the city to allow adjustment from a worker housing project to social housing to further expand the subjects accessing this type of policy housing, suitable for the affordability of the majority of people.
