Linear stove (straight stove)
This is a type of kitchen arranged along a wall. Storage, preliminary processing, washing and cooking areas are arranged on the same straight line, helping to optimize area and save costs. This type of kitchen is especially suitable for small apartments or houses.
L-shaped stove
L-shaped stoves are the most popular design style today thanks to creating a convenient movement process between functional areas, often called the "working triangle" in the kitchen.
Usually, the washing area is arranged on the short edge of the letter L, near the window to take advantage of natural light and ventilation. The preliminary processing and cooking area is located on the longer edge. When designing, you should not place the stove close to the window to avoid wind affecting the cooking process and ensure safety.
For kitchen cabinets, the bottom cabinet should be designed in a drawer shape to make it easy to get things and increase aesthetics. The top hanging cabinet can be divided into many small compartments with a depth of about 30 - 40 cm to optimize storage space.
U-shaped stove
The U-shaped stove was developed from the L-shaped stove by adding a table top or cabinet system on the other side. This design creates more storage space, while being convenient for arranging equipment and working areas in the kitchen.
The choice of kitchen layout style needs to be based on the actual area of the kitchen to ensure convenience when using and optimize space.
