Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in May 2026, the City has created jobs for about 21,900 workers. In which, jobs were created for 4,800 workers from the City's entrusted budget capital through the Social Policy Bank with an amount of 524 billion VND; 386 workers were created jobs through labor export; 760 people found jobs through job transaction sessions and job introduction counseling activities at Hanoi Employment Service Center; 15,900 workers were created jobs through other forms.

Also in May 2026, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 24 job transaction sessions. There were 525 units participating in recruitment with a total of 10,743 recruitment and enrollment targets. There were 1,234 workers interviewed at job transaction sessions.

In addition, the Center strengthens vocational training orientation and job conversion for unemployed workers; organizes consulting and job introduction activities on the job exchange system in the City; ... thereby supporting job creation for workers.

Regarding support and settlement of unemployment insurance (BHTN) policies, in May 2026, the Center received 8,309 applications for unemployment insurance benefits (an increase of 3,183 applications compared to April 2026 and an increase of 78 applications compared to the same period in 2025). Appraised and issued decisions to enjoy unemployment benefits for 7,628 applications (an increase of 3,584 applications compared to April 2026 and an increase of 566 applications compared to the same period in 2025) with a support amount of 192.1 billion VND. In addition, the Center has advised and supported job search for over 2,000 workers, including vocational training support for 76 people with an amount of 300 million VND.
