The living room should be airy and bright enough
A bright living room helps the space look more vibrant and comfortable. Take advantage of natural light or arrange lights reasonably so that the room is always clear and warm. Avoid placing too many dense pots of plants on the balcony because it can obscure the light. When using lights, you should shine light on the wall to create a soothing feeling, instead of direct light. Round lamps are often preferred because they create a harmonious and balanced feeling.
Prioritize light wall color
Bright and neutral colors such as ivory white, beige or pastel help the living room look spacious, easy to coordinate furniture and create a relaxing feeling. Too dark tones can make the space heavy and stuffy. Gentle colors not only beautify the room but also make the atmosphere in the house more comfortable.
Arrange reasonably, avoid passing through the room
The living room should be a quiet place, not turned into the main walkway in the house. Limit the design of corridors or channels crossing the living room because it easily causes a feeling of disorder and lack of privacy. The main door should also not look directly at the bedroom door or back door. If possible, create a small cushion space like the lobby or place a low cabinet to make the space more discreet and neat.
