Near Tet, the demand for motorbike refurbishment is increasing sharply as many people want to "change clothes" for their vehicles before spring trips. On streets with many paint and nail art shops, changing car colors in Hanoi, the atmosphere these days is always overloaded. Cars are parked all over the sidewalks, workers are working continuously, and phone appointments ring non-stop.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung (resident in Van Mieu ward, Hanoi) shared that he has gone to many places to refurbish his SH before Tet but has received a shake of the head. "Some places say they are fully booked, the appointment place returns the next day. I run several stores to have a place to receive it" - he said.
At a store on Cao Ba Quat street, his car was received, but the staff scheduled to pick it up at exactly 12 noon the next day. "It took almost a day to finish. The paint price is 1.8 million VND for an SH car, I had to accept it because it was close to Tet" - Mr. Dung said.
While exchanging with customers, reporters witnessed this store continuously receiving calls asking for services. Many customers pushed their cars to come but had to return. The staff explained briefly: "We didn't have time to do it, please sympathize". Inside the workshop, some workers are processing the surface, others are drying the finished paint layer, the working pace is urgent.
The store owner said that about two weeks before Tet is the most stressful time. "Normally we receive a few cars, now there are more than ten motorbikes a day. Painting or changing color requires a careful process, it cannot be done perfunctorily. If you hug too many and are late or the quality is not guaranteed, you will lose credibility" - this person said.
According to the shop owner, to complete a completely repainted car, it must go through the stages of removing details, treating scratches, spraying paint, drying, and checking the surface. With color-changing decals, the time is also not short because it needs to be cleaned thoroughly, adjusted and pressed with standard decals to avoid peeling and air bubbles.
A worker with many years of experience shared that during Tet, they often have to work overtime. "There are many customers, everyone wants to get a car early. Doing it quickly easily leads to errors, so we have to be more careful. Many days we work until late at night" - he said.
According to this craftsman, customers during Tet often choose striking colors or new tones with the desire to create a fresh feeling for the new year.
