Bathroom located in the bedroom
In modern apartments, the main bedroom usually has a private bathroom, which is very convenient to use. However, no matter how well designed, the bathroom still finds it difficult to avoid odors and humidity.
In fact, many bathrooms do not have windows, only ventilation holes, so water vapor easily spreads to the bedroom. This causes blankets and mattresses to be damp, causing discomfort.
Prolonged high humidity can be harmful to health, such as headaches, fatigue, joint pain, increased risk of skin inflammation, skin fungus, allergies; mold growth can also affect the respiratory system.
Therefore, we should prioritize choosing bathrooms with windows for natural ventilation. Bathroom doors should be placed sideways, avoiding facing the bed directly.
Use waterproof and moisture-proof materials for walls, ceilings, especially brick crevices. Install ventilation fans.
You can add a dehumidifier box and a dehumidifier bag in the bathroom. After showering, close the bathroom door and dry the floor to limit moisture from spreading to the bedroom.
Growing fish in the bedroom
Raising fish helps relax, but fish tanks should not be placed in the bedroom. Ornamental fish tanks release a lot of water vapor, increasing humidity, easily causing mold and bacteria. In addition, oxygen pumps can cause noise, affecting sleep.
We should place the fish tank in the living room or office - a ventilated place, easy to change water and clean.
Bedroom filled with green trees
Green plants help to keep the air fresh and reduce stress. However, at night, plants absorb oxygen and release CO2. If you leave too many plants in the bedroom, coupled with closing the doors, it can cause feelings of suffocation, difficulty sleeping, and prolonged fatigue. The soil can also develop mold, causing allergies, or affecting the respiratory tract.
Only place a few plants in the bedroom. Prioritize hydroponic plants or small plants such as: lucky bamboo, stone lotus, cacti... Avoid moisture-loving plants that require frequent watering.
