The winning bidder is the joint venture of Industrial Development and Investment Corporation - Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company - Becamex Binh Phuoc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company - Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company. The type of contract is build - operate - transfer (BOT).
Total investment (including interest) is over VND 8,833 billion from equity, loans and other legally mobilized capital. Time to prepare for construction, infrastructure system and construction time is 36 months.
The time for operating and operating the project and infrastructure system is 32 years and 5 months from the date the competent authority approves the investor to collect road usage fees.
The Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to be responsible for the accuracy of the content, data, and conformity of the documents according to the provisions of law on investment under the public-private partnership method and other relevant legal provisions.

According to the Binh Duong Province Electronic Information Portal, the investment project to build the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway - the section passing through Binh Duong Province has its starting point at the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 in Thuan An City. The end point is at Km 52 +159 (the border between Binh Duong Province and Binh Phuoc Province).
The expressway through Binh Duong passes through Thuan An city, Tan Uyen city and Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao and Bau Bang districts of Binh Duong province.
The total length of the project is more than 52 km, of which the current section is 6.5 km long (from Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 to Khanh Van intersection), the newly invested and constructed section is more than 45.6 km long (from Km 6+500 to Km 52+159).
The project has a scale of 4-lane highway, with continuous emergency lanes along the entire route, a roadbed width of 25.5 m, and a design speed of 100 km/h (the first section of the route, 6.5 km long from Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 to Khanh Van intersection, will maintain the current road cross-section). Sections with high traffic demand will invest in a service road to ensure 2 lanes for motor vehicles.
