On May 7, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that it had directed departments, branches, localities and investors to speed up the implementation of 4 complex urban area projects in Cam Lam district, expected to start phase 1 on November 15, 2025.
Accordingly, departments, branches, local authorities and investors are responsible for implementing or coordinating the implementation of the work on schedule as agreed, to ensure the construction start time as planned.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requests Cam Lam District People's Committee, Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, investors and related units to proactively implement legal procedures based on the detailed progress table established by the Department of Finance.
Units are also required to send monthly reports on implementation progress, clearly stating any difficulties and problems, for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution.
On the side of the Department of Finance, this unit is tasked with monitoring the overall progress, especially in the site clearance - one of the important stages that determine the project implementation progress. At the same time, the Department is responsible for reviewing, summarizing information, reporting and advising the provincial People's Committee to handle issues arising in accordance with the law.
It is known that the Provincial People's Committee has approved the results of investor selection, including: Cam Hoa Complex Urban Area Project, Cam Tan Complex Urban Area, Cam Thuong Complex Urban Area and Suoi Tan Complex Urban Area. These are key projects to promote the socio-economic development of Cam Lam district, with the orientation of building this area into a modern urban area with synchronous infrastructure and utilities.
According to the plan, phase 1 of the above projects is expected to officially start construction on November 15, 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee emphasized that implementing progress on schedule not only ensures legality and investment efficiency but also contributes significantly to the completion of urban planning and attracting sustainable development resources for the locality.
4 urban area projects in Cam Lam district with a total investment of more than 22,000 billion VND
4 projects include Cam Hoa Complex Urban Area, Cam Thuong Complex Urban Area, Suoi Tan Complex Urban Area and Cam Tan Complex Urban Area.
Of which, Cam Hoa Complex Urban Area has a land use area of nearly 300 hectares, a population of about 4,410 people, and a total investment of more than 5,240 billion VND. The project is implemented in Cam Tan and Cam Hoa communes.
The Cam Thuong Complex Urban Area Project has a land use area of nearly 300 hectares, a population of about 4,010 people, and a total investment of nearly VND6,000 billion. The project is located in two communes, Cam Tan and Suoi Tan.
The Suoi Tan Complex Urban Area Project has a land use area of nearly 240 hectares, a population of about 4,000 people, and a total investment of more than 5,100 billion VND. The project is implemented in Suoi Tan commune.
Finally, there is the Cam Tan Complex Urban Area project, with a land use scale of more than 290 hectares, a population of about 4,020 people, and a total investment of more than 5,730 billion VND. The project is located in the two communes of Cam Tan and Suoi Tan.
