On March 25, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed a decision approving the investment policy for the Cam Lam new urban area project (Khanh Hoa).
The Cam Lam new urban area project is implemented in Cam Lam district, including the communes and towns of Cam Duc, Cam Hai Dong, Cam Hai Tay, Cam Hoa, Cam An Bac, Cam An Nam, Cam Hiep Bac, Cam Hiep Nam, Cam Tan, Suoi Tan, Cam Thanh Bac.
In addition, the project is also implemented in a part of Cam Ranh city, including Cam Thanh Nam commune, Cam Phuc Bac ward, Cam Nghia ward.
Cam Lam new urban area is nearly 10,400 hectares wide, with a total investment of about 285,267 billion VND.
Of which, the cost of compensation and resettlement support is about 25,000 billion VND. The operating period is 50 years from the date of the decision on land allocation, decision on land lease, decision on land use purpose change.
It is expected that the new urban area of Cam Lam will have items such as about 58,576 villas and townhouses; 9,821 apartments; 58,574 plots of land for villas and townhouses; 33,052 social housing; 36-hole golf course...
The project will be organized to bid to select investors according to regulations. The project is expected to be implemented from 2025, completed in 2037.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assigned the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to be fully responsible before the law, before the Prime Minister, before inspection, examination and auditing agencies for the contents, information and data reported in the project investment approval proposal dossier.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has regulations on commitments and conditions to bind investors to implement the progress and goals of the project; be responsible for handling if investors violate their commitments, ensure effective use of land resources, and avoid waste when not implementing the project.
The Deputy Prime Minister also assigned the People's Committee of Khanh province to be responsible for monitoring, inspecting and supervising the dredging, clearing of flows, and renovating Thuy Trieu lagoon within the project scope; inspecting and supervising the exploitation of water resources and sources of origin and discharge according to the provisions of law; preventing impacts affecting people and the environment, causing complaints and complaints, especially in compensation, support, resettlement, site clearance, and environmental protection work.
In addition, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province is responsible for land recovery, compensation, resettlement, site clearance, ensuring the harmony of interests of the State, businesses, and people to avoid complaints and denunciations against the majority, exceeding the level and ensuring that people whose land is recovered have a better life and living environment.
