In November 2024, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution on the list of land plots for bidding for investment projects using land. These are the land plots that the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also approved the list of land acquisition for socio-economic development for national and public interests in the area.
The 6 above-mentioned land plots are located in Cam Lam district and Nha Trang city. In which, in Nha Trang city, the Nha Trang mixed-use urban area project (229 hectares in Vinh Thai commune and Phuoc Long ward) is being reclaimed.
In Cam Lam district, there are 5 reclamation projects including Cam Thuong urban complex (reclamation area of 295ha, in Cam Tan commune, Suoi Tan commune), Suoi Tan urban complex (in Suoi Tan commune, reclamation area of 236ha), Cam Tan urban complex (in Cam Tan commune, Suoi Tan commune with reclamation area of 292ha), Cam Hoa urban complex (in Cam Tan commune, Cam Hoa commune, reclamation area of 298ha).
There is also a large-scale project, the Cam Lam new urban area in Cam Lam district, with a recovered area of 10,365 hectares.
In particular, the land recovery projects in Cam Lam district are consistent with the general planning of the new urban area of Cam Lam until 2045, approved by the Prime Minister in February 2024.
Recently, Khanh Hoa province also issued criteria for projects that must bid to select investors.
Investment projects using land must conduct bidding to select investors when fully meeting the criteria of being an investment project to build an urban area with mixed-use functions, synchronous technical infrastructure, social infrastructure with housing, forming from one residential unit or more according to approved construction planning.
Or the project has a land use scale of 20 hectares or more in cases where the construction planning does not clearly define residential units.
Along with that are urban renovation and beautification projects based on the relocation of polluting facilities and facilities that must be relocated according to urban planning.
Investment projects to build rural housing areas, synchronize technical infrastructure and social infrastructure systems according to approved planning and have a land use scale of 10 hectares or more.
Projects not related to public investment activities, management and use of public investment capital and investment activities under the public-private partnership method.
