On November 5, a working delegation of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee inspected the field and worked with units and localities on the implementation of the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction Project (Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project) in Van Hung Commune (Van Ninh District) and Ninh Tho Commune (Ninh Hoa Town).
Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project is invested by Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company, with a total area of 288 hectares and a total investment capital of 1,807 billion VND.
This project has been approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy and the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board has issued an investment registration certificate.
Currently, the project has completed the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan and is waiting for the Provincial People's Council to approve. Regarding site clearance, the project is divided into 4 sub-areas, of which sub-area 1 is expected to complete site clearance in December 2024.
The Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone has requested the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to soon approve the 1/2,000 scale Construction Zoning Plan after it is approved by the Provincial People's Council to serve as a basis for implementing the next steps.
Propose that the Provincial People's Committee direct Van Ninh district and Ninh Hoa town to promptly approve land compensation and support prices to have a basis for developing a site clearance plan; complete site clearance work to hand over land, ensuring the project's progress as planned.
Khanh Hoa province leaders said that construction of the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project is expected to begin before April 2025.
