The Hong An Ward Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council has completed the first payment to 96 households under the Nomura Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Management Project (phase 2). The total compensation amount is more than 96 billion VND, equivalent to the reclaimed area of more than 120,100 m2 of land.
It is expected that in the second phase, the Ward Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council will continue to approve and pay to 176 households with a total cost of about 160 billion VND.
At the payment ceremony, the people all expressed their consensus, excitement, and confidence in the state's compensation, support, and resettlement policies and guidelines. The timely, transparent and on- schedule payment has contributed to creating consensus among the people, ensuring site clearance, serving the project implementation according to plan.
The Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Management Project (phase 2) has a scale of 197.16 hectares, with a total investment capital of VND 2,782.72 billion. Of which, the investor's contributed capital is 425 billion VND; the project's operating period is 50 years from the date of the investment policy approval decision.
