Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 855/QD-UBND approving the investment policy, and at the same time assigning Lam Son Construction and Trading Co., Ltd. as the investor to implement the social housing project at lot D-OXH-08 in sub-zone No. 4, Da Mai ward.
According to the Decision, the project is implemented on a land area of about 1.97ha. Of which, the land area for social housing is about 18,174m2, accounting for 92.12% of the total land area; the rest is the area for commercial housing.
The social housing area is built with 2 19 story above-ground apartment buildings and 1 basement floor, with a total construction floor area of about 73,968m2.
The project is expected to provide about 744 apartments with areas from 25m2 to 77m2, meeting accommodation for about 1,585 people.
The basement is designed for parking, from the 1st to the 19th floors are arranged apartments, public spaces, community activities, kindergartens, and technical facilities serving residents.
The project has a total estimated investment of more than 1,063 billion VND. According to the plan, the investor must complete land, construction and commencement procedures within a maximum of 12 months from the date of investment policy approval. The project must complete construction, acceptance and put into use within a maximum of 48 months.
The project implementation is expected to contribute to completing the urban infrastructure system in Da Mai area, creating an additional source of quality social housing, meeting the housing needs of low-income people, industrial park workers, and promoting socio-economic development and the urbanization process of Bac Ninh province.
Bac Ninh is a locality in the leading group in the country in social housing development - according to the assessment of the Ministry of Construction.
By the end of April 2026, Bac Ninh province had 102 social housing projects with a total scale of about 117,000 apartments.
