Hundreds of degraded villas in abandoned ecological urban area in Da Nang
Located along the Cu De River, Golden Hills City urban area (Da Nang) with hundreds of villas that have been roughly built but have been abandoned for many years due to legal problems.
According to Lao Dong reporters, recently, hundreds of villas in Nam Quan - Thuy Tu urban area (Golden Hills City) have been completed in the rough and then abandoned, surrounded by overgrown grass and trees. Notably, the blocks of houses here are built with brick walls, no guardrails have been installed, and some items show signs of serious deterioration.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh (55 years old, living on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Da Nang) said that the abandoned urban area has been abandoned for a long time, everywhere in the project is covered with grass because there has been no one cleaning for a long time. According to Ms. Oanh, this area also has few houses, most of which are kiosks, real estate trading floors with people passing by. At night, people walking here are airy but the gloomy scene looks like a "ghost town".
"The number of roughly built blocks here is quite large, lying exposed to the sun and rain for many years is very wasteful. Many villas and billion-dollar shophouses have been abandoned for a long time, with grass and trees growing tightly inside, and when the gates were not yet fenced off, this place became a regular cattle grazing area for the people," said Ms. Oanh.

Khanh Hoa assigns investors to implement social housing projects worth over VND1,100 billion
On October 6, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had issued a decision approving the assignment of Technical Materials Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company (representative of the consortium with C-HOLDINGS Joint Stock Company and Dinh An Group Company Limited) as the investor of the CT-04 Social Housing Project.
This project is located in land plot CT-04, An Binh Tan Urban Area, Nam Nha Trang Ward.
The decision was issued based on Resolution 201/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly and Decree 192/2025/ND-CP of the Government, allowing the investor to not bid for social housing projects that do not use public investment capital that have been approved for investment.
Previously, in June 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a decision approving the investment policy for this project.
Accordingly, the CT-04 Social Housing Project is being implemented on a land area of about 1.44 hectares, with a block of apartments with 16 floors above ground and 1 basement, with a total investment of more than 1,179 billion VND.
The project is expected to provide about 840 apartments, serving the housing needs of more than 2,100 people.
The project implementation period will last until the fourth quarter of 2027, when the project is completed, handed over and put into use.
