On the Government Information Portal, Mr. C.V.M said that his family has a land use right certificate (red book) issued by the People's Committee of Tan Uyen district, the old Bac Giang province since 1991 (land for long-term use). He asked, now that the province has merged, do you need to change your certificate? If not changed, what impact will it have?
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment responds to this issue as follows:
In Clause 1, Section VII, Section C, Part V, Appendix I, attached to Decree No. 151/2025/ND-CP dated June 12, 2025 of the Government on determining the authority of local authorities at 02 levels, decentralizing authority, and decentralizing in the field of land, stipulates the cases of issuance and exchange of issued red books, in which cases of merger into new provinces and communes do not have to issue and exchange Certificates.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment would like to inform Mr. M to study and implement it in accordance with the provisions of law.
