On September 2, the Defense Command of Region 5 - Thanh Oai mobilized officers and employees along with the militia of the Ha Dong Ward Military Command to connect the site for fireworks displays to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
The location of the fireworks display is at Van Quan Lake, Ha Dong Ward.
Despite unfavorable weather and erratic sunshine, officers and soldiers have urgently deployed preparations to prepare for a special artistic fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Accordingly, fireworks are classified according to each type. Based on the fire and explosion time of each type of firecracker, mix it into each fire stage according to the scenario of the firecracker supplier.
All preparations were carefully prepared by officers and staff of the Provincial Defense Command of Region 5 - Thanh Oai and militia officers and soldiers of the Ha Dong Ward Military Command to ensure safety.
According to the records, preparations have also been completed at 5 other fireworks display sites (with 4 launch points) in the city, including: In front of the headquarters of the new Hanoi Newspaper, in front of the Hanoi Post Office (Hoan Kiem Ward); Coconut Island - Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung Ward); Water Sports Palace in the National Sports Complex (Tu Liem Ward); Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho Ward).
Each location will mobilize about 600 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks displays, performing for 15 minutes, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.
The city requested the Hanoi Capital Command to preside over and coordinate with the City Police to strictly direct patrolling, guarding, maintaining security, order, social safety, fire prevention and fighting, and ensuring absolute safety before, during and after fireworks at the fireworks display locations.
Hanoi City Police develop plans and strategies to ensure security, social order and safety, traffic safety; especially guide and ensure traffic flow around the fireworks display area; create conditions for vehicles carrying fireworks and technical vehicles to enter the site; ensure forces and means to carry out fire prevention and fighting tasks...
The city requires the People's Committees of the wards: Hoan Kiem, Tu Liem, Tay Ho, Hai Ba Trung to do a good job of propaganda and encouragement, organize cultural and artistic performances to serve the people at fireworks display locations; ensure timely handling plans when situations occur.
