Change the color of the wall paint
Walls occupy a large area in the bathroom, so the color of this area significantly affects the feeling of the entire space. If you want the bathroom to look more modern and comfortable, changing the color of the walls is one of the simplest ways.
Bright, cool and elegant colors such as white, beige, light blue or bright gray often help the space feel cleaner, more airy and spacious. For bathrooms with small areas, bright colors also have good light reflection, limiting the feeling of crampedness.
However, if using a monochrome color for the entire space, the bathroom may become monotonous. You can create accents with a wall panel with patterns or materials with stone patterns, but you should restrain it so that the overall style still retains its neatness.
Place a vase
A small flower vase can add a natural highlight to the bathroom without having to change too much furniture. In particular, spaces using many neutral colors will become more lively with a little bit of green leaves or gentle colors from flowers.
When choosing vases, you should prioritize simple designs, moderate sizes and suitable for the room area. Transparent glass vases are an easy choice to combine because of their gentle appearance, not creating a heavy feeling for the space.
Flowers should also not have too many colors. One or two main tones will help the overall look more harmonious, while avoiding making the bathroom look messy.
Hang a suitable mirror
Mirrors are an almost indispensable item in the bathroom, and can also become a notable highlight if chosen appropriately. The reflective surface of mirrors helps increase the feeling of lightness and ventilation, especially in bathrooms with limited areas.
Mirror shapes should be chosen based on the overall design style. Round or oval mirrors create a soft feeling, while rectangular or square mirrors are often suitable for modern, minimalist style spaces.
Besides shape, frame style also needs to be considered. Mirrors with frames can create clear accents on simple walls. Conversely, for wall areas that already have prominent patterns or materials, mirrors without frames will help the overall balance and avoid a cumbersome feeling.
The most important thing is to choose a mirror size that matches the sink and wall area. A well-fitting mirror often creates better aesthetic effects than a model that is too large or too elaborate.
