Harmonious color coordination
Color coordination plays an important role in bathroom design. Priority should be given to colors that create a clean, airy and comfortable feeling such as white, cream, beige, gray or light blue. Sanitation equipment can use white as the main color, combined with wall and floor colors with moderate contrast to make the space have accents while still harmonious.
Keep the bathroom dry and ventilated
Bathrooms are frequently exposed to water and moisture, so they need to be designed to drain quickly, limiting water stagnation on the floor. The bathroom floor should have a suitable slope towards the drainage bucket, and this area should be arranged lower or have solutions to prevent water from overflowing into the bedroom and other spaces.
The ventilation system is also very necessary to reduce humidity, limit odors and the risk of mold. Action fans can be installed or windows can be designed to be airy if conditions permit.
In addition, do not place too many items in the bathroom because it is easy to create difficult-to-clean corners and make the space cramped. Separating the bath area from the toilet and lavabo with glass walls or appropriate solutions helps limit water leaks, keep the area dry and more convenient for cleaning.
Bathroom doors should not be arranged opposite the main door
In terms of design and privacy, the bathroom door should be arranged in a discreet position, avoiding facing directly from the main door or common living areas. This arrangement helps to limit outsiders looking directly into the bathroom space, while creating a neat feeling for the overall house.
If the surface is required to arrange the bathroom door near the main door, you can use partitions, decorative cabinets or adjust the door opening direction to create a cushion space between the two spaces.
In general, when designing a bathroom, priority should be given to factors such as drainage, ventilation, anti-humidity, hygiene, privacy and convenience of use. These are factors that directly determine the comfort and quality of the bathroom space.
