Implementing site clearance for the Project to invest in the construction of the road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10, on the morning of September 9, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Kien An ward organized the payment of compensation and support money to households with recovered land to implement the project.
This time, 31 households were paid with a total amount of 41.1 billion VND. The payment was carried out publicly, in accordance with regulations, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of people whose land is recovered. Households were fully informed about the compensation and support plan, and were guided on related procedures in the implementation process.
The project of the road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10 is of great significance in completing the transportation system, strengthening connectivity between regions, creating motivation for socio-economic development and gradually completing urban infrastructure in the area. The Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Kien An ward continues to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to propagate and mobilize people to agree and hand over land, contributing to ensuring project implementation progress.
The investment project to build a road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10 through Kien An, Phu Lien wards and Kien Thuy commune was started on May 14, 2026.
The total investment of the project is 5,273.435 billion VND from the city budget, implemented until 2029. After completion and commissioning, the project will create a new road connecting National Highway 10, National Highway 37 to the city center; reduce traffic volume on National Highway 10, and gradually complete the city's transport infrastructure infrastructure system.
Along with that, forming space, developing urban infrastructure framework, attracting domestic and foreign investment capital to invest in economic development in the area; creating a premise to promote socio-economic development of the city.
