On the morning of September 9, Mr. Nguyen Quang Dung - representative of Sen Hong Private Kindergarten (Dien Dien commune) confirmed that the school had sent a petition to the police agency, requesting clarification of individuals involved in sharing unverified images at the school.
Previously, images of dishes for preschool children appeared on social networks, believed to be at a school in Dien Dien commune.
According to the posted images, some meals had quite little meat and eggs. After the incident was shared on social networks, Dien Dien commune authorities intervened to inspect and make a record.
The working delegation also rectified Sen Hong Private Kindergarten regarding the provision of meals for children.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Quang Dung confirmed that the images of the rice bowl with little meat shared on social networks are images at the school.
However, Mr. Dung denied that this is a meal provided by the school for children.
According to Mr. Dung, the school suspects that a contract teacher who quit her job arbitrarily scooped rice and food into a bowl, then took photos and posted them on social networks with the aim of defaming the school.
Representatives of Sen Hong Private Kindergarten said that children's meals at the school are priced at 25,000 VND/child/day (lunar and afternoon).
The menu is changed every day, with many types of food, not just a few pieces of meat as shared in the picture.
However, before the comments of the Dien Dien commune working group, representatives of Sen Hong Private Kindergarten said that the school frankly accepted and reviewed the organization of meals and continued to ensure the best quality of meals for children.
