In this phase, 182 households and individuals in Duc Phong village whose land was recovered received compensation and support with a total amount of more than 89 billion VND.
At the payment point, the Kien Minh Commune Public Service Center guided households to sign dossiers and procedures for paying compensation and support money. The payment was carried out publicly, transparently, to the right beneficiaries, in accordance with policies and according to the approved plan. Many people were happy and excited when receiving compensation and support money after completing the related procedures.
The organization of compensation and support payments to households whose land is recovered shows the proactiveness and urgency of Kien Minh commune in site clearance for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.
Along with ensuring publicity and transparency in the implementation of compensation and support policies, land, and assets attached to recovered land, Kien Minh commune continues to propagate, mobilize, and create consensus and responsibility of the people of Kien Minh commune in implementing key infrastructure development projects in the area.
Previously, Kien Minh commune organized the payment of compensation and support money in phase 1 to 10 households and individuals in Phong Cau village. The total amount paid was nearly 2.5 billion VND; phase 2 payment to 199 households and individuals with a total amount of 145,045,445,000 VND according to the approved plan.
