HUE - The Hue City Enforcement Board has just organized the enforcement of the remaining households from Dong Da apartment building.

On December 5, the Hue City Enforcement Board organized the enforcement and relocation of 7 households to implement the project to renovate and rebuild blocks A, B, C of Dong Da apartment building (Phu Nhuan ward, Hue city).

Previously, on October 26, the Hue City People's Committee issued a decision to forcibly evacuate 12 households in this dilapidated apartment building, but by December 4, many households had not yet left.

Because the three blocks A, B, C of Dong Da apartment building have seriously degraded (to the point of collapsing at any time), affecting the urban beauty, unsafe for use, and especially threatening the lives of residents.

In September 2023, Thua Thien Hue province issued a decision approving the policy of building and renovating apartment buildings in the direction of high-rise apartments, commercial apartments combined with business and service areas.

The land area for construction investment in blocks A, B, C has a scale of over 8,500m2, with a population of over 2,000 people. The total investment for this project is expected to be nearly 1,300 billion VND.

To implement the project, 161 households had to relocate and hand over the land, however, as of December 4, only 154 apartment owners had received money, relocated and handed over, while 7 households and individuals had not relocated.

By December 5, when the Hue City Enforcement Board organized the enforcement, 1 household had handed over the apartment, the remaining 6 households also understood and left the apartment. The enforcement force only moved the property to hand over the apartment to the project. The enforcement ensured security and safety.

After completing the enforcement, the relevant units will make a record of handover to the investor for management to carry out the project.
