In the 2022-2023 period, Da Nang successfully auctioned 9 large land plots, 7 residential land lots. In 2024, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment submitted to the People's Committee for approval the auction of 33 large land plots, 189 residential land lots.
Recently, Da Nang City successfully auctioned some land plots, including a medical land plot with a winning price 6.5 times higher than the starting price.
"Thus, the local real estate market is not as pessimistic as in the past" - the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment emphasized.
Regarding the auction for lease of land with a time limit, in 2023, Da Nang City successfully auctioned 3 cases for lease of temporary land. In 2024, the auction of 11 locations for temporary parking lots will both prevent land hoarding and solve traffic congestion.
Not only that, Da Nang reviews public land to prioritize the development of parks, walking gardens, and other public amenities to solve the urban problem.
The leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang City added that to solve the problem of land surplus and shortage for resettlement, with 20,166 lots, Da Nang allows people to exchange their resettlement land from one area to another.
People have the right to choose their place of residence, if they want a quiet area, they can exchange it for a suburban area or vice versa. The exchange of resettlement land has significantly reduced the pressure on public investment when building resettlement areas.
Da Nang also allows the consolidation of small land plots into large land plots to have a large area for the construction of cultural institutions and other public works.
