
On April 15, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that it had just issued Plan No. 254/KH-UBND on auctioning the land use rights of land plots managed by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center in 2026.
According to the plan, the whole province will organize auctions of 23 land plots with a total area of about 210,682.98 m2. Including 12 land plots transferred from 2025 (105,982.6 m2) and 11 newly registered land plots (104,700.38 m2).
The auction aims to effectively exploit the land fund, put land into use in a timely manner, create revenue for the budget, supplement public investment capital and social welfare. At the same time, it contributes to solving housing needs, completing urban technical infrastructure and rural residential areas in a civilized and modern direction.
In the transition list, there are many notable land plots such as: land plot block 5 of Truong Vinh ward (formerly Ben Thuy ward) with an area of more than 64,344 m2; land plot recovered from Van Xuan University in Cua Lo ward with an area of about 210,000 m2; along with many commercial, service and residential land plots in Quynh Anh, Lam Thanh, Quy Hop, Tan Phu communes...
For new land plots, most are recovered land from old headquarters and schools, such as: land plots in Truong Vinh ward (old headquarters of the Department of Culture and Sports), Anh Son commune (old school), Quy Hop commune (Youth Volunteer Team 3)... with the main purpose of use being residential land and commercial and service land.
According to the assignment, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for appraising the auction plan, determining the starting price and advising the Provincial People's Committee for approval. The Department of Construction is responsible for planning and providing information on urban and housing development.
People's Committees of communes and wards coordinate to announce the list of auctioned land, organize management and supervision of the auction process and carry out procedures for land allocation, land lease, and issuance of certificates according to regulations.
