On the morning of April 17, a house fire occurred at No. 35, lane 35 Hong Phuc (Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi City). The Fire and Rescue Police force promptly controlled the fire, rescued one person and prevented the fire from spreading to the surrounding area.
According to initial information from Hanoi City Police, at 5:44 am on the same day, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a fire report at the above address. Immediately after that, the unit dispatched 4 fire trucks, 3 command vehicles and more than 20 officers and soldiers of Fire Prevention and Fighting & Rescue Police Teams in areas No. 7, 8 and 14 to urgently go to the scene to organize firefighting and rescue.
At the scene, the house where the fire occurred has an area of about 25m2 per floor, 4 floors high and 1 attic, located deep in a small alley, making it impossible for fire trucks to approach directly.
The fire broke out strongly on the 1st floor, quickly spreading to the upper floors, accompanied by a lot of toxic smoke, causing difficulties for access and rescue work.

After a process of striving to implement professional measures, by about 6:35 am on the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
Functional forces rescued 1 person trapped inside, handing it over to medical forces for timely emergency treatment. 2 others escaped through the 3rd floor lottery.
The fire did not spread to surrounding houses. Currently, the cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies for handling according to the provisions of law.
