On April 17, Mr. Nguyen Tan Thuan - Deputy General Director of Phu Yen Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company confirmed that he had overcome the crude water pipe burst incident that occurred in the area at 10 pm last night.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Thuan added that after reconnecting the water pipeline, this morning the company continued to mobilize human resources to return the ground on the construction routes.
According to initial information, during the construction of the traffic light system, a construction unit drilled into the DN600 raw water pipeline at the southwest corner intersecting DH22 road and National Highway 25, causing serious damage.
To handle the incident, the company was forced to temporarily suspend water supply to all customers belonging to Tuy Hoa Water Plant.
The water supply interruption affects more than 38,000 households in the wards: Tuy Hoa, Binh Kien, Phu Yen, Dong Hoa, Hoa Hiep and Tuy An Nam, O Loan communes.
Phu Yen Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company has focused maximum manpower and vehicles to overcome and restore water supply to people.
Regarding responsibility, after completing the remedy, the company will report the incident to competent authorities for consideration and handling according to regulations.
Previously, the company issued a notice of temporary water supply suspension so that people could be proactive in daily life and production. At the same time, note that after resuming water supply, water pressure and quality may not be stable in the early stages.
