On August 12, Mr. Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said: "The Provincial People's Committee has just held a meeting to consider the proposal to invest in building a golf course in the Ea Kao lake area (Ea Kao ward)".
According to Mr. Thai, the business proposing to build the golf course is a unit from Quang Ninh province. The 18-hole golf course area is expected to be built on an area of over 70 hectares. The villa area alone will be developed on an area of over 46 hectares.
The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has approved the plan and will report to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to seek opinions on the project.
According to the Department of Construction of Dak Lak province, the Ea Kao Lake Golf Course is planned on an area of over 70 hectares, including an 18-hole golf course and auxiliary works serving the golf course. The villa is built on an area of over 46 hectares, with an expected population of over 5,000 people.
This will be a new urban area with a synchronous, spacious, clean, sustainable and environmentally friendly technical infrastructure system.
Ea Kao Lake is more than 10km from the administrative center of Dak Lak province. In addition to the irrigation function, the lake is also an attractive eco-tourism destination, attracting visitors with its pristine natural landscape and cool green space.
