Attending the program were comrade Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, former Standing Committee members, former members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation through the periods.
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 96-year tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union. Looking back on the past 96 years, we are proud of the important contributions of the Provincial Trade Union in the cause of local socio-economic development as well as the movement of workers and civil servants nationwide; we are proud to have generations of union cadres and a team of workers who have always been united, have a sense of responsibility, and are enthusiastic for the movement; have wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly contributed to building a strong union organization like today.
In 2025, implementing the policy of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces will be merged into the new Bac Ninh province, marking an important historical milestone to continue the tradition of the former Ha Bac province; at the same time, creating new momentum for the comprehensive development of the potential Kinh Bac land. For trade unions, this is an opportunity to restructure and strengthen the trade union organization in a streamlined and efficient manner, in line with the new administrative model.
From July 1, 2025, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term was established, with 38 comrades appointed to join the Executive Committee, 14 comrades appointed to join the Standing Committee and 14 comrades appointed to join the Inspection Committee.
Comrade Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, was appointed as Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; Comrades Le Duc Tho, Nguyen Manh Hung, Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc were appointed as Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Labor Federation; at the same time, 2 departments were established (Union Working Committee, Industrial Park Trade Union Committee) and 25 commune and ward trade unions.
After perfecting the organizational structure, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor managed 2,215 grassroots trade unions of enterprises and public service units that do not receive 100% of salaries from the State budget, with 579,539 union members (including 1,050 grassroots trade unions in industrial parks, with 392,052 union members; 1,162 grassroots trade unions outside industrial parks, with 144,840 union members).
The Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor has promptly developed Working Regulations, assigned tasks, and organized the implementation of winter activities such as: Program "Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union accompanies and develops for the rights of workers"; organized working groups to visit and work at 17 enterprises with a large number of workers to promptly grasp the situation of grassroots trade union activities, difficulties and problems after the arrangement and presented 170 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.
Entering a new stage of development, the Bac Ninh Trade Union will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, creativity, strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, excellently complete assigned tasks, actively contribute to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; strive to build Bac Ninh province into a centrally-run city by 2030.
