On May 14, the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee held a discussion on the investment location for the construction of Binh Thuan High-Tech Park.
The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province proposed the location to build a high-tech park near the road connecting the expressway to Phan Thiet city, with an area of 1,300 hectares.
Of which, 850 hectares belong to Ham Hiep commune, Ham Thuan Bac district and 450 hectares belong to Muong Man commune, Ham Thuan Nam district. Regarding traffic, the land location is 6.8 km from Phan Thiet Station and 9.6 km from Nguyen Tat Thanh roundabout.
The land is located near the important transport unit of the area such as the highway route, the North -South railway, the high -speed railway (the railway station is expected to be arranged in this area), the bypass road 1A, along the two sides of the planning route connecting the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway to Phan Thiet city.
According to the Party Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, this location facilitates traffic during the transportation and circulation of goods as well as the movement of experts.
In the neighboring area where investment is expected, there will be an irrigation canal and reservoir system, so proactively provide water to serve the operation of the high-tech park.
In particular, the above locations do not overlap with areas licensed for mineral exploitation and national mineral reserve areas (titan).
In addition, this location is next to the (expected) TOD Urban Area, so it is convenient to attract experts and other sectors and fields.
In the coming time, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province will assign the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate with the consulting unit to continue collecting data and developing evidence for the establishment of the Binh Thuan High-Tech Park.
At the same time, it determined the model, development direction and forecasted the impact and effectiveness of the project, and completed the Project to establish Binh Thuan High-Tech Park with the work contents and products of the Consulting Service Contract that had been signed.
The Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee assessed the establishment of Binh Thuan High-Tech Park as very necessary and basically agreed with the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee direct the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province to urgently review and complete the Project to establish Binh Thuan High-Tech Park in accordance with relevant planning and projects, ensuring synchronization and promoting efficiency.
