Dien Bien approves planning for an urban area and golf course of nearly 220 ha

Dien Bien - The highlight of the plan is a standard 18-hole golf course and eco-tourism complexes.

Recently, Mr. Le Van Luong - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 2942 on approving the construction sub-area plan at a scale of 1/2,000 for the urban, tourism, sports, and entertainment complex of Huoi Pha Lake and its vicinity.

Specifically, the planning has an area scale of nearly 220 hectares, with a population of about 1,500 people (including overnight guests). The planning period is until 2050.

The planned area belongs to the administrative boundaries of Dien Bien Phu ward. The west side of the project is adjacent to Vo Nguyen Giap road (National Highway 279), the remaining sides are adjacent to agricultural and forestry production areas. The planning project divides the area into 3 main sub-zones.

Commercial, tourist, service and golf area with an area of 95.6 ha. The highlight is a standard 18-hole golf course, accompanied by a training ground system, club houses, golf villas and service areas.

Development reserve area (services, entertainment, theme parks) with over 88 hectares.

The existing area for renovation and development reserves is 36 hectares. This area will focus on existing housing groups, resettlement housing and synchronous social infrastructure works.
