Dien Bien - TH Group has just sent a document to the Provincial People's Committee proposing to build a macadamia factory, with a scale of 5 hectares.

According to Lao Dong's source, on January 13, TH Group just sent a document to the People's Committee of Dien Bien province proposing to build a macadamia processing plant in the province, located in Tuan Giao commune, with a scale of 5 hectares.

The factory will process products from macadamia seeds harvested from the project's growing area and purchase them from people in the province and neighboring areas.

Currently, Dien Bien is the locality with the 2nd largest macadamia area in the country (after Lam Dong province, with 12,360 ha). The province is also implementing crop restructuring, identifying the expansion of coffee, macadamia, and fruit trees as the main direction for developing green and sustainable agriculture.

Although there is no specific estimate of investment value, this is expected to create an important boost for the development of the province's macadamia industry, creating more jobs, and increasing local budget revenue.
