Located in Cam Duong ward, Urban Sub-area No. 16 and Urban Sub-area No. 17 are large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented.
In mid-September, after a period of implementation, the urban appearance in the ward has had clear changes.
In Sub-urban Area No. 17, after adjustment, the project has an area of nearly 40 hectares. By the end of July 2026, 37.79 hectares had been cleared, reaching 96.7% of the project area.
Among these, the area according to the old plan has been cleared 33.1/33.5 ha; the expanded area, including the taluy slope, has been cleared 4.7/5.56 ha.

Currently, the investor has basically completed technical infrastructure with a value of about 260 billion VND.
In addition, 556/1,078 houses have been built, with a total value of about 510 billion VND. New rows of houses are gradually forming, but the project has not yet been completed according to the approved progress for the 2016-2019 period.
According to local authorities, some areas have not completed site clearance, making construction at some locations unable to be deployed synchronously.

Not far away, the new urban sub-area No. 16 has a scale of about 41.85 ha, with a total investment of more than 1,618 billion VND. The project implementation period is 5 years, starting from 2021.
To date, the investor, Kosy Joint Stock Company, has constructed technical infrastructure on about 16.5 hectares, with a realized value of about 155 billion VND.
Currently, land acquisition and site clearance are still being actively implemented.

Recently, at a meeting on September 16, Cam Duong Ward People's Committee and Kosy Joint Stock Company reviewed the progress of two projects, focusing on problems related to site clearance, compensation costs, financial obligations and infrastructure completion.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuyen - Vice Chairman of Cam Duong Ward People's Committee - requested Kosy Joint Stock Company to develop a specific roadmap for each task, proactively allocate funds to pay people, fully fulfill financial obligations to the State and accelerate the construction progress on the allocated area.
For Sub-urban Area No. 16, the investor needs to coordinate to complete the dossier, implement land acquisition and site clearance steps, and focus on completing the electricity and water supply system in the resettlement area.

The implementation of Sub-urban Areas No. 16 and 17 not only supplements the housing fund and technical infrastructure but also creates more urban development space in Cam Duong ward.
Two projects are being implemented in an area undergoing strong urbanization, contributing to expanding construction space, completing the transportation network and synchronous infrastructure works.
