On May 6, Tu Minh Ward People's Committee (Hai Phong City) organized a dialogue with households whose land was recovered to propagate and answer questions about compensation, support, and resettlement to serve the site clearance (GPMB) of the project to build technical infrastructure for the resettlement area and residential point of Cam Doai commune (phase 1).
According to the report of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department, the project was approved by Cam Giang District People's Committee in Decision No. 4672/QD-UBND dated December 31, 2024, with a recovered area of 1.44 ha, involving 20 households and individuals.
To date, 6 households have received money and handed over the land; 10 households subject to coercive inventory have not received money; some cases still have problems with mechanisms and policies. The Land Clearance Council has publicly posted plans, received and explained people's opinions according to regulations.

At the dialogue, households proposed to review the compensation area; consider supporting bidding ponds and agricultural land; clarify the compensation unit price and support policies for arising population; and at the same time request to provide legal information and grounds for project implementation.
Some opinions also proposed ensuring production conditions, supporting stable living conditions and guiding payment for crops and flowers. Representatives of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department explained and clarified the contents according to the provisions of law; and at the same time received and summarized the opinions to report to competent authorities for consideration.
Mr. Le Van Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee - emphasized that the compensation and support plan is built on the basis of current regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency and the legitimate rights of the people.
Regarding specific recommendations, the Ward People's Committee will continue to review and respond in writing according to regulations. At the same time, it is requested that households urgently complete population declarations as a basis for supporting life stabilization, coordinate to receive money and hand over land.
In the coming time, Tu Minh ward will continue to promote propaganda and mobilization, striving to complete the approval and payment of compensation and support plans before May 30, 2026; cases of non-compliance will be handled according to the provisions of law.
