The People's Council of Kien An District, term V, 2021 - 2026, has just held its 25th session (special session) to review and decide on a number of contents in the field of public investment.
At the meeting, the District People's Council discussed and agreed to stop the investment policy of 10 auction projects of land use rights and urban embellishment in the district. The reason is that these projects are not on the list of cases of land acquisition in accordance with the new provisions of the 2024 Land Law, leading to not being eligible for the necessary legal procedures.
Delegates of the District People's Council also agreed through the Resolution to adjust and supplement (12th time) The District Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2021-2025. Accordingly, the total source of medium-term investment in the district in the period of 2021-2025 decreased from more than VND 1,667 billion to more than VND 1,275 billion (down more than VND 392 billion) from the capital allocated to 13 auction projects of land use rights and urban embellishment in the district to stop the investment policy of this period. The adjusted capital is allocated to the medium-term public investment plan for the district 2026-2030, including VND 5.2 billion arranged for transition projects and more than VND 534 million has not been allocated.
Also at the meeting, the District People's Council decided to adjust and supplement (3rd time) of the District Public Investment Plan in 2025. Accordingly, the transfer of more than VND 9.2 billion from the investment preparation has not been allocated to the task of preparing investment projects on construction of resettlement infrastructure in Kien An district to serve the projects for the period of 2026-2030 and the project of building a versatile house in Nam Ha Secondary School.
