The Project to Upgrade and Expand Lai Chau Provincial Political School (phase 2) was approved by Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee according to Decision No. 3123/QD-UBND dated December 17, 2025.
This project belongs to Group C, with a total investment of 60 billion VND, invested by the Lai Chau Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
According to the reporter's investigation, "Package No. 05: Construction + equipment and fire prevention and fighting" of the project has just completed the contractor selection work.
Package No. 05 was widely bid through the network, with a value of more than 54.3 billion VND from the local budget.
According to the decision approving the contractor selection results, the joint venture includes: Duc Manh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Quoc An Trading and Service Co., Ltd. of Dien Bien province - winning Package No. 05 with a price of over 53.4 billion VND.
Thus, the consortium of 2 contractors mentioned above will construct and install items according to the construction drawing design, supply and install equipment, and construct fire prevention and fighting. The implementation time of the bidding package is 200 days.
According to the bidding documents, package No. 05 will be implemented to repair facility 1 at the headquarters of the Provincial Political School (address: No. 258, Tran Phu Street, Tan Phong Ward).
At facility 1, the contractor will repair and renovate the lecture hall (grade III building - 3 floors), repair and renovate the administration building (grade III building - 3 floors) and auxiliary items.
The rest is to invest in essential equipment for renovation and new construction items: tables, chairs, loudspeaker amplifiers, sound systems, computers, sunscreen curtains...
Along with that, the contractor will repair facility 2 at the headquarters of Tan Phong Ward People's Committee (address: Le Dai Hanh Street, Tan Phong Ward).
At facility 2, the contractor will repair and renovate the 2-story functional office building into a library and research house for students and lecturers; repair and renovate the 1-story 1-door functional office building into a sports training center for students and lecturers.
Along with that, repair and renovate the multi-purpose house, build a new 3-story dormitory + attic and auxiliary items.
Regarding equipment, this facility will be invested in equipment, tables and chairs, beds, cabinets, televisions, computers, fire protection systems, sunshades...
The project is invested with the goal of ensuring facilities to serve the school's training work; gradually building schools to meet level 1 standards according to the Project "Building Lai Chau Provincial Political School to meet level 1 standards in the period 2022-2026, orientation to 2035".
