On May 21, Phu An Ward People's Committee (HCMC) announced the public posting and taking opinions from people on the detailed planning project dossier at a scale of 1/500 of Tay An Tay Urban Area. The time for taking opinions is from now until June 8, 2026.
This is a large-scale urban area project approved for investment policy by the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee. The project has a implemented area of 268 hectares located in Phu An and Tay Nam wards.
The project's objective is to invest in building a new urban area, expected to include residential areas, construction works with mixed service functions, works serving commercial services, tourism, and accommodation purposes; besides, building education and health works synchronously with technical infrastructure and urban green tree system. Thereby promoting socio-economic development of Phu An and Tay Nam wards.

According to the plan, the project will arrange 89.7 hectares of residential land, including 10.1 hectares of land for building adjacent houses, 22.3 hectares of residential land for townhouses, 38.4 hectares of residential land for eco-villas, 1.08 hectares of resettlement residential land; the project arranges 33.5 hectares for building commercial, service, education, and health facilities; 63 hectares of green and water surface land; 81.4 hectares of traffic and technical infrastructure land.
Notably, the project allocates land fund to build social housing for low-income workers with 17.8 hectares, accounting for 20% of the total residential land area of the project. It is expected to build social housing apartments for sale and lease.
For the 1.08 ha resettlement land, about 110 households subject to land acquisition will be arranged to implement the project.
It is expected that the urban area will create a living space for about 20,400 people. The estimated investment capital for the project is about 20,851 billion VND. Of which 3,595 billion VND is for compensation and resettlement support and 17,255 billion VND is for project construction.
