High ceilings in offices make the space airy, create a comfortable feeling and support better air circulation. Conversely, low ceilings (below about 2.6 m) easily cause a feeling of crampedness and stuffiness, affecting the comfort and working efficiency of employees.
Office doors should not be arranged to open directly to the toilet. This is an area prone to odors and bacteria, if placed near or opposite the workplace, it can affect air quality and health. If you cannot change the location, you should use partitions, green trees or deodorizing solutions, and always close the toilet door to limit the impact.
Placing mirrors in the office also needs consideration. Large mirrors or placing them right on the desk can distract you, making you easily distracted if you look at them frequently. It is better to limit placing mirrors in the main working area, or arrange them in a position that affects less concentration.
Light is an important factor in the working environment. A sufficiently bright space helps improve mood, increase alertness and work efficiency. Too weak light easily causes fatigue, while too bright light causes glare and discomfort. Therefore, natural light should be utilized in combination with suitable lighting systems to create a balanced and comfortable working environment.
