Lam Dong - People again see whales heading up to the sea surface and continuously opening their mouths to hunt prey in Mui Ne sea. This is the 2nd time in the past week.

On April 23, Mr. Dinh Xuan Tuong - a surfing instructor in Mui Ne said that during surfing in the Lau Mui Ne island area of Mui Ne ward, Lam Dong province, he discovered a whale heading up to the sea surface.

The whale discovery location is about 800m from the shore. The whale continuously poked down and then surfaced with its mouth wide open to hunt prey. Because on the sea surface there are flocks of birds flying close to the water surface.

People used their phones to film the whale hunting scene. However, people did not dare to approach the whale to prevent risks.

Not far from this location, on April 19, Mr. Tuong and surfing students also discovered whales swimming and opening their mouths to hunt in the Bai Sau Mui Ne sea area.

Mui Ne fishermen believe that whales appearing in near-shore waters are good omens, bringing good luck to the fishing villagers.
