Thu Do Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company has just announced a plan to receive applications for buying social housing (rental units for sale) at the Ecohome 3 Residential Area project, plot B11-HH2, Bac Co Nhue - Chem area, Dong Ngac ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi (phase 3).
The Ecohome 3 project is invested by the Capital Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, built on an area of 4,954.9m2, with non-budgetary capital.
The scale of the project includes two 31-storey buildings, NO2 and NO3, with the main functions of commercial - service and apartments. The two buildings have 2 basements with a total underground floor area of about 30,748m2, the height of the project is 107.5m.
The entire project has 1,456 apartments, of which 1,008 are social housing for sale, 267 are for rent and 181 are commercial apartments.
In this phase 3, 40 social housing apartments for rent for 5 years have been converted to sale, with areas from 39.9m2 to 69.7m2. The average selling price of social housing at the Ecohome 3 project is 16,306,378 VND/m2 (including VAT, excluding maintenance costs). Accordingly, the prices of social housing apartments here range from more than 650 million VND to more than 1.13 billion VND/apartment.
Notably, not everyone can buy social housing in this project. Accordingly, the subjects submitting the application are customers who have rented social housing at the Ecohome 3 project for 5 years as prescribed by law.
VAT is applied at 5% and the maintenance cost is 310,598 VND/m2. The rental price of social housing including VAT is 73,155 VND/m2/month.
Registration documents are accepted from August 29, 2025 to November 1, 2025, including Saturday and Sunday, from 8:30 to 11:30, afternoon from 13:30 to 16:30.
The Hanoi Department of Construction noted that organizations and individuals are strictly prohibited from taking advantage of social housing policies and people's needs to collect money and deposits in violation of regulations. The petitioner must directly submit the application, sign the application receipt and register the wish for the apartment area.
At the same time, people do not conduct transfers against regulations for social housing, and do not register to submit home purchase documents at locations that have not been officially announced by the investor on the website of the Hanoi Department of Construction.
Previously, the Ecohome 3 Residential Area Project opened for sale in the second phase with 120 social housing units. The area of the apartments ranges from 39.9m2 to 69.7m2. The average selling price of social housing at the Ecohome 3 project (including value added tax but excluding maintenance costs) is 16,306,378 VND/m2.
Accordingly, the prices of apartments here range from 650.37 million VND/unit to more than 1.1 billion VND/unit. The subjects submitting documents are customers currently renting social housing at the Ecohome 3 Project, Dong Ngac Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City.
