The Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning has just announced the route plan and location of the Red River Landscape Avenue axis road, scale 1/500.
The plan drawing and route location are proposed to be submitted to the Hanoi City People's Committee for approval according to current regulations.
Regarding the location and location of the road section, the Red River Landscape Avenue Axis is proposed to be newly built, on the basis of going parallel and basically clinging to both sides of the left and right dikes of the Red River.
According to the General Plan of Hanoi Capital with a 100-year vision approved, the Hong River Landscape Avenue is the main urban road, including the main road section with a scale of 6 lanes for motorized vehicles, design speed of 80km/h; the service road section with a scale of 4 lanes, design speed of 60km/h.

Avenue axis on the left bank of the Red River is more than 35km long
With the avenue on the left bank of the Red River, the starting point is at the intersection with Hong Ha bridge, belonging to Me Linh commune. The ending point ends in Hanoi City, belonging to Bat Trang commune.
The length of the route is about 35.04km.
The route passes through the communes and wards: Me Linh commune, Thien Loc commune, Vinh Thanh commune, Dong Anh commune, Bo De ward, Long Bien ward and Bat Trang commune.
For sections of the route adjacent to Ta Hong dyke, build a boulevard with a scale of 6 lanes for motorized vehicles on the main route and 2 lanes on the road on the right side; use the existing dyke road as the road on the left side.
For the section going far from Ta Hong dyke, build a boulevard with a scale of 6 lanes for motorized vehicles on the main route and 4 lanes on the side road.
For the section of the route crossing the Duong River, arrange a bridge over the river, with a bridge deck width of 28m.
For the section from the foot of Bac Cau bridge to the beginning of Thang Long bridge, the section is narrowed in cross-section to 49.5m with a scale of 6 motorized lanes on the main route and 2 mixed lanes (each lane 5.5m wide), sidewalks 3m wide on each side to avoid affecting the Nui Temple, Rung Temple and Thoai Phuc Xa model temple relic area.
For the section from the beginning of Long Bien bridge to behind Chuong Duong bridge, about 2.3km long, build a closed tunnel type section with a scale suitable for access roads including 4 lanes for motorized vehicles, 2 mixed lanes (each lane 5.5m).
For the section going over the Bat Trang dyke, build a 6-lane motorized avenue on the main route and take advantage of the Bat Trang dyke road (left) and the existing service road (right) as parallel roads.
Avenue axis on the right bank of the Red River is more than 45km long
On the right bank of the Red River, the starting point is at the intersection with Hong Ha bridge, belonging to O Dien commune. The ending point is at the intersection with Me So bridge, belonging to Hong Van commune.
Length is about 45.34km.
The route passes through the communes and wards: O Dien commune, Thuong Cat ward, Dong Ngac ward, Phu Thuong ward, Hong Ha ward, Linh Nam ward, Thanh Tri ward, Nam Phu commune, Hong Van commune.
For sections of the route adjacent to the right dyke, build a boulevard with a scale of 6 lanes for motorized vehicles on the main route and 2 lanes on the road on the right side; use the existing dyke road as the road on the left side.
For sections going far from the Huu dike, build a boulevard axis with a scale of 6 lanes for motorized vehicles on the main route and 4 lanes on the side road.
