Implementing the direction of the City People's Committee on issuing the Decision on relocation and the Decision on compulsory relocation at 34 old Dong Quoc Binh apartment buildings, the People's Committee of Gia Vien Ward issued Decision No. 1674/QD-UBND dated November 19, 2025 for 124 owners and users of houses in this area.
Immediately after promulgation, the ward's Working Groups handed over the decision to each household, and at the same time propagated and mobilized people to strictly comply with the relocation and promptly hand over old apartments to serve the implementation of the apartment renovation and reconstruction project.
According to the plan, after December 3, 2025, if households still do not comply with the relocation decision, the Ward People's Committee will issue a decision on enforcement and organize enforcement according to the provisions of law.
Previously, to ensure the progress of the Project to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure to serve the Project to invest in renovating old apartment buildings in Dong Quoc Binh ward (old), Gia Vien Ward People's Committee coordinated with Hai Phong Housing Management and Business Company Limited and Ngo Quyen Project Management Board to establish 6 propaganda and mobilization teams. From October 18, the groups focused on propagating and mobilizing 310 households in 34 old Dong Quoc Binh apartment buildings to accept money, hand over the site and relocate from the old apartment buildings. Up to now, many households have agreed to hand over.
