    Regarding the content that Lao Dong and some press agencies reported about Mr. Hai Thai's nearly 100-year-old ancient house falling into oblivion and dilapidation, the People's Committee of Dien Khanh district has responded.

    Since the beginning of 2024, the area around Mr. Hai Thai's old house has been deserted and degraded because there is no management unit. Looking from above, the house's grounds are overgrown with grass, and the surrounding fences and trees have collapsed.

    According to the People's Committee of Dien Khanh district, at the end of September 2024, the District Urban Management Department presided over and coordinated with the People's Committee of Suoi Tien commune to receive the handover of the property, the Hai Thai ancient house in Suoi Tien commune with an area of ​​3,100m2 from Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Joint Stock Company.

    Regarding the land of 3 plots 262, 249, 436 on map sheet No. 3, with a total area of ​​9,525m2 managed by the People's Committee of Suoi Tien commune, the District People's Committee has directed Suoi Tien commune to receive the current status of the 3 plots of land that Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Joint Stock Company has handed over and inspected the land use planning to have a basis for implementation in accordance with legal regulations.

    Previously in 2008, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned this house to Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel to take over, restore and embellish it into a tourist attraction.

    At the end of 2023, after a long period of ineffective tourism exploitation, Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel officially returned Mr. Hai Thai's ancient house to the Dien Khanh district government for management.

    Mr. Vo Van Sang - Chairman of Suoi Tien Commune People's Committee said that the locality has received 3 plots of land in the area of ​​Mr. Hai Thai's ancient house. In the long term, Mr. Sang said that Dien Khanh District People's Committee will have a plan to restore and embellish the relic.

    Along with the restoration, the locality will also continue to invite businesses to invest and cooperate.
