Vinh City temporarily stops dividing and separating plots from the beginning of 2025

Nghe An - Vinh City will temporarily stop dividing plots, dividing plots, and donating land to open roads from January 1, 2025.

On November 24, information from the People's Committee of Vinh City (Nghe An) said that Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Sy Chien has just signed an official dispatch on temporarily suspending the receipt, consideration, and settlement of procedures related to land subdivision and separation in the area.

According to the official dispatch, on October 24, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1243 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Nghe An province for the period 2023-2025. This Resolution takes effect from December 1, 2024.

To implement Resolution No. 1243 and to ensure convenience and stability of data and statistics on land and population to serve the general planning of Vinh City according to the new administrative boundaries, Vinh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Urban Management, Natural Resources and Environment and related units, People's Committees of wards and communes to strengthen state management of land and planning.

In the immediate future, temporarily stop receiving, reviewing, and resolving procedures related to land division, land donation for road opening, and land division within the administrative boundaries of Vinh City.

“For the backlog of files, the authority has been granted to implement the policy; departments, branches, and units must implement to ensure citizens' rights. At the same time, they are responsible for reporting to the City People's Committee to update data to ensure timeliness and consistency" - the document stated.

Resolution No. 1243 of the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to merge the entire natural area of ​​29.09 km2 and population of 77,813 people of Cua Lo town and the entire natural area and population of Nghi Xuan commune, Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Thai commune and Nghi Phong commune (belonging to Nghi Loc district) into Vinh city.
