Binh Quoi Ward People's Committee has just publicly posted a notice of land acquisition to implement the Binh Quoi - Thanh Da New Urban Area project in the ward (formerly belonging to Ward 28, Binh Thanh District).
According to Binh Quoi Ward People's Committee, in order to ensure a legal basis in the process of preparing compensation, support and resettlement dossiers, the locality has deployed the delivery of land recovery notices to each land user within the project scope.
However, to date, there are still 1,622 land acquisition notices that have not been reached to land owners and users. The main reason is that many land areas are vacant, owner or user cannot be identified, land location cannot be determined,...

To ensure the correct order and procedures according to regulations, Binh Quoi Ward People's Committee publicly posted land acquisition notices and proceeded to publish them in the newspaper for 3 periods for cases that could not be directly notified.
The listing is carried out at the headquarters of Binh Quoi Ward People's Committee (No. 1 Thanh Da street) and in neighborhoods 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19.
Binh Quoi Ward People's Committee requests households and individuals with opinions related to the land acquisition notice to contact the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of the ward (address No. 1 Thanh Da Administrative Area) for consideration and settlement according to regulations.
The Binh Quoi - Thanh Da New Urban Area project is expected to recover land from about 4,866 households in Binh Quoi ward.
According to the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the city strives to basically complete compensation, support, resettlement and handover of land to implement the project before October 31, 2026.

The Binh Quoi - Thanh Da New Urban Area project was approved for investment policy and investor approval by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in February 2026.
Binh Quoi - Thanh Da new urban area has a total area of about 423 hectares, of which about 405 hectares are invested in construction, the remaining area is for landscape embellishment and ecological space conservation, without land acquisition.
According to the plan, this area will develop into a modern, synchronous urban area with full functions of housing, commerce - services, health, education, culture, sports, tourism, hotels and offices.
The highlight of the project is a system of green parks, theme parks, marinas and riverside ecological spaces, aiming to form a large-scale ecological urban area at the Northeast gateway of Ho Chi Minh City.
The project has a projected population scale of about 54,000 people, providing about 25,526 houses including apartments, townhouses, villas, social housing and resettlement housing. In which, the land fund for social housing development accounts for about 20% of the total residential land area according to regulations.
The total investment capital of the project is nearly 99,000 billion VND, equivalent to more than 3.74 billion USD.
